Struggling Through The Texas Criminal Justice System?

Being charged with a crime of any kind, from the mildest misdemeanor to the most serious felonies, puts your future on the line. As your criminal defense attorney, it is my privilege to step in to protect that future.

As a mother and a lawyer, I know how to navigate high-stress situations with a constant eye on the long-term consequences. Whether that means keeping you out of jail, protecting your career, or clearing up your record, you can count on me to have your back and best interests at heart through each and every step of your defense.

A Career Built On A Bedrock Of Diverse Legal Experience

I came to criminal defense practice after proving myself and gathering legal experience in a wide array of fields, from personal injury to family law, employment discrimination, and medical malpractice. While every step honed my attention to detail and ability to make compelling arguments in or out of court, one thing remained constant: defending the underdog and representing the ordinary individual up against the government or powerful institutions.

Nowhere is that clearer than in criminal defense, where your rights, freedom and future depend on the lawyer standing between you and the criminal justice system, so that is where I know I can make the most difference today.

Compassionate And Effective Criminal Defense Advocacy

When reviewing the evidence against you, negotiating favorable outcomes, or preparing to defend your case and name in court, I never lose sight of who I am fighting for and why.

I started my legal journey volunteering to provide legal representation to Veterans in need, even as I was completing my ROTC training in graduate school. I saw firsthand the difference a keen legal eye and compassionate approach can make in the lives of those who need it most.

While I excelled in various Moot Courts throughout law school and was decorated with the Order of Barristers on graduation, I know now that what counts isn’t making grand speeches or writing brilliant briefs. Instead, I steer that passion toward delivering meaningful, practical and impactful results to each and every client who entrusts our firm with their future.

My Commitment: Translating Your Legal Options Into Practical Action

One of the worst aspects of our criminal justice system is how hard it is for the individuals trapped in it to understand their rights and options. I always aim to fix that, to put the decision-making power back in your hands, so that you know what is at stake and what your options are.

Once you have that baseline, I will work with you to establish clear yet achievable goals and take meaningful and direct practical action to accomplish them, whether that means saving your job, minimizing prison time, protecting your reputation or, whenever possible, getting the case thrown out or securing that vital not-guilty verdict.
